It’s this time of the year again! Time to discover, time to indulge and time to enjoy! The 5th edition of the “Nespresso Gourmet Weeks” is about to kick-off on Monday.
25 restaurants, 25 selected top chefs and rising talents throughout Switzerland take part in Nespresso’s extraordinary gastronomic experience concept . The exclusive and rare Nespresso Grands Crus complete the experience and can be tasted in whole new ways through culinary compositions of the chefs. In total, 23 Michelin stars and 395 GaultMillau points come together at the Nespresso Gourmet Weeks between 29th of October till 19th of November 2017 in Switzerland.
I was one of the first to taste the unique menu last week, at one of my favorite restaurants in Zurich. “The Restaurant at The Dolder Grand by Heiko Nieder” (2 Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points).
I rarely eat meat. The dishes this year are quite light, and contain less meat than in the past years, which I appreciated a lot. The other thing is, you would not even notice that there is less meat on the menu, as the Grand Cru flavors and pairings of the ingredients are so aromatic and special – as special as the concept is. A must try for every food and coffee lover. The lunch and dinner concepts are accompanied by matching wines and champagnes, of course.
