Last Wednesday, I’ve spent a lovely day in St. Moritz and have realized, how much I missed the snow, as I didn’t make it to the mountains this winter. Such a shame! Usually we go there by car and I can’t recall a single drive, I didn’t get sick. All the up’s and down’s AND curves – that route is not made for me! As I had a business meeting, this time I took the train to get there (what I will always do from now on – soooo easy and relaxed). I had a seat at the panorama wagon and for the first time I was even able to enjoy the ride while looking at the beautiful landscape, protected by UNESCO World Heritage. Giddying viaducts, twisting tunnels and other spectacular feats of engineering all blend harmoniously into the wild and rugged landscape along the 122 beautiful kilometres of the Rhaetian Railway’s Albula-Bernina line. Amazing! After my meeting at Suvretta House, I met friends for lunch at the Badrutt’s Palace, went for a walk in the snow and had to rush home – back to work. I didn’t have the chance to visit all my favorite places at once, but I thought at least I can share them with you:

My favorite mountain restaurant El Paradiso on top of St. Moritz. On a sunny day: it’s paradise.
