It’s the most wonderful time of the year. And I’ve just received the most wonderful advent calendar by Emilio Pucci x Acqua di Parma. A special edition for a special cause: This year, Acqua di Parma’s Holiday Collection shines bright in the iconic style of Emilio Pucci and supports the “Riscriviamo il Futuro – Rewrite the Future” campaign by Save the Children. Every single item in the collection is contributed to this charitable cause. A collection that celebrates life, love and joy.
United by the common values of traditional workmanship, a joyous spirit and a passion for beauty, the Italian houses of Acqua di Parma and Emilio Pucci come together to support the „Rewrite the Future“ campaign by Save the Children, the international organisation which has been working for 100 years to save children at risk and guarantee their future, against a background of challenging social conditions and a lack of educational facilities.
“In a historic period of great difficulty, young people find themselves in an unprecedented situation in terms of schooling and education. “By sustaining the Rewrite the Future campaign by Save the Children, we aim to offer constructive support for the most deprived children and young people by working to guarantee their right to quality education. “Careful attention to training is part of the company’s DNA. We’ve always dedicated the greatest of care to the transfer of traditional craft know-how to future generations. “We’re therefore aware of the fundamental role played by education in protecting everything we love about our country. “Holiday Season, which we’ve proudly created along with Emilio Pucci, is a symbol of our commitment, a gift to the new and future generations and a message of positivity and confidence”, says Laura Burdese, Chairman and CEO of Acqua di Parma.
“The Holiday Season project fired our enthusiasm from the very outset. “It’s a hugely emotional experience to embark on this journey of solidarity with Acqua di Parma to promote positivity and confidence all over the world by sustaining the Save the Children Rewrite the Future initiative. “The Vortici print, which we’ve reinterpreted exclusively for this collaboration, perfectly represents the joyous spirit of our company and the love for beauty which we share profoundly with Acqua di Parma”, says Maison Emilio Pucci.
In a year of great resilience, it makes me especially happy, to explore the 25 surprises that every door keeps, but also for knowing that it is for such a great cause.
A special touch of Italy at my home, that will not only make me smile every day, but also let me dream of all these amazing moments I’ve spent in Italy this year (and make me look forward to new ones soon!)
25 days of the multi-faceted world of the Acqua di Parma universe, from Colonia to Blu Mediterraneo (my favorite – but there are so many actually), and from Le Nobili to the precious Signatures of the Sun fragrances and the Home collection.
