The Best or Nothing – Meet the new Mercedes Benz E-Class Cabriolet

It’s a powerful saying. True. But if you can envision it, you can make it happen. Why wouldn’t you? It’s your life! 😉

“The best or nothing.” is not only my life quote – it’s also the slogan, the vision and philosophy of Mercedes Benz, the brand with the star. That’s what you can definitely see in their latest launched Mercedes Benz E-Class Cabriolet, that I was able to test in Spain as one of the very first, before the official launch this year.

I might not be an expert, when it comes to technical equipment or horse power of cars, but one thing is for sure: I grew up spending quite some time in several Mercedes E-Class cars throughout my whole life. These were the preferred models of my parents. Over the years we’ve owned several classic or new Mercedes Benz E-Class Limousines.  So, it’s not only childhood memories, but fantastic to observe the small details in vision, touch & feel or scent and how they developed over those 30 years.

Most women, like myself, pay attention to the soft details of cars. It’s important, what you feel, when you sit in the car, when you drive it, how comfortable and safe it is. Some call this new member of the E-class family the yacht of the streets and that I can confirm. There is no better sporty yet luxurious feeling than an open air drive with Mercedes’ latest vehicle.  The design of the yacht-interior-inspired E-class cabriolet not only gives you confidence in a way, that you look simply cool and sexy in it, it’s a fun experience for this summer’s road trips. 😉 This open four-seater with a classic fabric soft top combines puristic, sensuous design with high long-distance comfort for four occupants and the latest technology. I must say, it convinced me in every detail. Whether its driving to work, to a meeting or a weekend-trip, it simply makes it a pleasure to drive.

Some of my favorite futuristic details are the  1) AIRSCARF neck-level heating system, that keeps you warm and comfortable when driving with the roof down, 2) comprehensive smartphone integration with a wireless charging and key function (so practical!) and 3) the LED lightning that offers several colors. (you choose the color of the day yourself, depending on your mood or your outfit). 😉

I truly agree, by aiming for: “The best or nothing!” … to be continued.
