Last month Roger Federer’s Match for Africa took place at Hallenstadion Zurich. The activities started already midday, where Roger Federer played against Andy Murray (not announced) on a floating tennis court on Zurich’s Limmat river, entertaining thousands of surprised pedestrians, including me (while I was on my way to a business lunch). Such a fun and cool idea!
As a guest of Moët & Chandon, Roger Federer’s official sponsor, I attended the official Match for Africa in the afternoon and enjoyed a fantastic time at their VIP lounge, drinking sparkling champagne and meeting Roger Federer of course.
The charity match has raised over 1.4 million CHF for Roger Federer’s Foundation that supports children in Africa. Chapeau, Roger!
