Charity Work We Like

This „year“ is coming to and end. Just as many of you, I have been reflecting on it these days and I feel so blessed, lucky and grateful for everything I have and for who I am.

I don’t want to say that it hasn’t been a challenging year. Without doubt it has been tough for each and everyone of us in its own unique way. Yet many people have been complaining this year about how terrible it has been to sit at home, not being able to go to restaurants or travel excessively around the world, closed airport lounges or hairdressers, cancelled holidays…

In these moments we don’t realize how spoilt we actually are and in what luxury we live: having a home, being safe at home, having food and fresh clothes to wear, money in our pockets and a job, being healthy, being able to access medical care when in need, spending time with friends & family and even having friends & family, being able to enjoy the beauty of nature, being able to walk, being able to breath…

Many of the people who are supported by the charities I’ve listed above, would give everything for only having a little bit of that, what we have been complaining about.

These charities and foundations listed here are doing amazing work in the fields of all of @theglobalgoals such as research and healthcare, environmental protection and preservation, refugee work, education, clothes and food supply for children in third world countries, bringing smiles to children and adults with terminal illnesses, rescuing animals from human cruelty….

End of the year is time to give back. For me this is the time to donate to causes that are dear to my heart.

Maybe you’ll also take a minute to pause, reflect and let these causes inspire you to be a little grateful for being you and having what you have, in a year like 2020 – and to donate to your favorite charity – or help someone in need.

Thank you!
