During this year’s SIHH, IWC Schaffhausen presented the launch of their new Da Vinci collection with the most spectacular concept they have ever created: “Decoding the beauty of time”. Take a look with me inside a day full of beauty, entertainment and surprises…
Arriving at the IWC Da Vinci Booth at SIHH Geneva…
…taking photos for IWC with Harold Cunningham.
Chris Grainger-Herr, the incoming CEO of IWC Schaffhausen, welcomes me at the booth and proudly presents the results of what he and his teams have been working on the past months. Stunning!
…then, he discovers my Leonardo Da Vinci “Codex Atlanticus” book clutch, that has especially been custom-made for me by Bags by M. for the occasion of the IWC Da Vinci Collection Launch.
“Culture is the best accessory” Isn’t it? Bags by M. produce, personalize and custom-make book clutches that tell a story. The exquisite By M. book clutches are handcrafted in a traditional Neapolitan bookbindery located in Palazzo Marigliano.
Speaking with Adriana Lima about about her code of beauty. Can you guess what it is?
“It’s being elegant and timeless.” she says.
Ready for the IWC Schaffhausen Mannequin Challenge with Ronan Keating. Can you spot me?
Taking a glimpse into CEO Georges Kern’s office, discovering the new IWC Da Vinci Collection. Christian Knoop, Creative Director of IWC Schaffhausen, shows me the new collection and tells me the story about “The Flower of Life”, that one can see on the back-side of the IWC Da Vinci watch.
“The Flower of Life is a common symbol of many spiritual and religious teachings around the world. The Flower of Life has been found all over the world in many different religions. It is one of the oldest sacred symbols known to man. It is a geometrical shape that is made up of multiple overlapping circles of the same size. There is a huge amount of information and knowledge that can be gained from understanding the Flower of Life. It is considered to be sacred geometrythat contains ancient religious value and to sum it up it depicts the fundamental forms of space and time.” (Collective Evolution)
Time for a coffee…

Having the honor to speak with a true legend:
Kurt Klaus, is the inventor of the ingenious autonomous IWC perpetual calendar mechanism and tells me some fascinating secrets of TIME.
It’s time to leave – and get ready for the night…

Welcome Chris!
Time to discover the real beauty of time and the secret of beauty at a stunning and very inspiring theatre performance.
What the code of beauty means to me? It’s: staying true to myself, to my values and to my heart, aiming for getting the best in life, and giving the best of me to life in return.
That’s #TheCodeOfMe.
Leonardo Da Vinci quotes it well:
What is your code of beauty and what is your code of life?
