It was a very special Cannes Film Festival this year. Different from any year before. It was the first international film festival that took place after the global pandemic. More intimate, more calm, more focused, more conscious than usual. And: for the first time it took pace in July (as opposed to May).
There is one place though, that has not really changed its glamour and its vibe. The Dior Suite in Cannes. It’s been my 6th time attending the Cannes Film Festival and I’ve been a regular visitor to the Dior Suite in Cannes, getting my make-up done by one of my favorite make-up artists in the world: Norman Pohl (Dior’s National Make-Up Artist/Director Germany, who will soon celebrate 20 years working for DIOR!).
The Suite’s location has not changed in years – it’s the Suite Christian Dior at the penthouse of the Barriere Hotel Majestic at the Croisette in Cannes, overlooking the red carpet, the happenings at the croisette and the sea. Yet the Suite’s interior and vibe re-invents itself every year, just like the brand DIOR does.
This time we created a beauty look using the new DIORSHOW mono eyeshadows in several earthy colors, finishing with my forever favorite DIOR ADDICT Lipglow in color BERRY.
