For those seeking complete privacy, The Sentinels offers three suites crafted out of former surveillance posts cut into the rock. The El Cabo suite makes the most of its extra seclusion and also provides its own terraces and pool.
At Cap Rocat Mallorca there is a deep understanding of the need for tourism to be sustainable. This is not a gesture towards doing things in the right way but rather a deeply-held set of values which extends through all aspects of the hotel’s operations from eliminating waste to cutting the carbon footprint. A key element of the approach is to show respect for the preservation of the marine environment so that future generations will be able to enjoy the pristine conditions which surround the hotel. This is especially important given that Cap Rocat is situated in a guarded natural reserve whose ethos is all about protecting the sea and its creatures. The hotel makes meaningful efforts to be a long-term customer of local eco-friendly farmers and fishermen. As well as supporting local businesses throughout the island, this cuts down food journey times and distances so the produce served is always as fresh as it could be. The Mediterranean cuisine is not just of the highest quality but the supply chain from the field, orchard or fishing net is kept sustainable throughout.
