For the third time, Project Everyone hosted the “Goals House” in Davos during the World Economic Forum 2022.
One of my favorites in Davos! Why? Because here it’s all about what matters in this world right now (to reach the Global Goals for Sustainable Development by 2030) and everyone involved truly cares about making the world a better place – and takes actions towards it!
This year’s program focused on a wide range of key topics including sustainability, following up on the commitments made at COP26, particularly around biodiversity.
In a year that will also see the seventh replenishment of the Global Fund, the agenda reviewed general lessons for healthcare systems across the world, considering recovery from (and preparedness for) global pandemics and where the overall responsibility for population health lies. The agenda has also seen a refocusing on the importance of delivering diversity, equality and inclusion in leadership positions.
The Goals Houses are sustainable sanctuaries, designed to host ground-breaking debate and discussions that lead to action in order to reach the targets of the Global Goals (SDGs).
Internationally-renowned activists, thinkers, politicians, personalities, business leaders and entrepreneurs convene in locations around the globe, including at UNGA in New York, the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland and Cannes Lions, France.
Goals House partners play a critical part in these discussions, and the Houses are supported by many businesses and organizations taking action that is devoted to making the Global Goals a reality.
Partners have the opportunity to attend the events taking place at the Houses, and work with freuds and other partners to host individually-curated events, including breakfasts, brunches, roundtables, lunches, dinners and nightcaps all inspiring action.
As you all now how passionate I am about health and well-being, I’ve been representing SDG #3 Good Health and Wellbeing for www.togetherband.org at this year’s Goals House in Davos.
Here is how you can help support the Global Goals: Visit www.globalgoals.org and www.togetherband.org. Pick your goal(s) and/or pick your togetherband(s) – inform yourself about activities around the goals and help supporting, spreading awareness and taking action towards a more positive future.
