Into The Wild: Cartier’s Spirit Animal Has Arrived In Zurich

From November 19th to December 17th, 2022 Cartier let’s you discover its iconic collection Panthère de Cartier though an immersive experience: INTO THE WILD. Conceived as a cultural happening, this installation traveled around the world from Macau via Taipei to Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse. 

A creative and educational space where Cartier welcomes its visitors into the world of the Panthère – aka Cartier’s spirit animal.

The experience begins with a journey through time from the first Appearance of the Panthère at Cartier in 1914, to the rhythm of sketches, contemporary documents, videos and photographs from the archives of the house.

The story continues in the office of Jeanne Toussaint, the first female Creative director for jewelry of the house. Recorded in various video projections INTO THE WILD” is the portrait of a demanding, free and dedicated woman.

Key pieces of the collection are being presented on the first floor: Panthère, enriched with sculptural creations. The animal in all its facets: from wild to tame, from realistic to abstract.

An immersive experience where the visitor joins the panther through time, shapes and space down to the intimate details of Cartier’s savoir-faire, which has now become its signature.
