… continued from “A Journey with Emirates part 2 of 3”.
A few hours after the departure from the beautiful Mandarin Oriental Bangkok our journey continued. We took another fantastic and so comfortable business class flight with the new Emirates A380 Â to Dubai, where we stayed 24 hours. This is a great option, that Emirates offers their passengers on their journeys to Asia via Dubai: you can extend your stop-overs to over-night stays and enjoy Dubai too. Which we did!
Arrived in Dubai, the Emirates Business Class Limousine Service picked us up, right at the Airport and brought us to another stunning place: the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah. WOW! For the ones, who followed me on Snapchat and INSTAGRAM, they have already seen more insights, of the beautiful and large suite that I was staying in, with a sea view and magnificent skyline views of Dubai.
The Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah belongs to the Hilton Group and is one of the most exclusive hotels on the famous “Palm Jumeirah” of Dubai. A dreamy escape from the vibrant city of Dubai and a resort that promises all the amenities for a relaxing getaway. It offers 200m of private beach, two pools (including a kids pool), a beautiful and luxurious Waldorf Astoria Spa with more than 50 treatments and a lot of outside activities for adults and kids.
At their six different restaurants, the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah also offers the finest cuisine, from contemporary Italian dining by Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck to a vietnamese culinary journey at LAO to international international fare at Mezzerie.
At the Palm Avenue, you will enjoy mediterranean dining and sunset cocktails with unique views.
So did we! Just before dinner, the EMEA President of the Hilton Group welcomed us with a private champagne reception and unbelievable sunset views over Dubai at the Presidential Suite and for dinner, we were served delicious Michelin-starred dishes by Heinz Beck! What a treat… that I can recommend highly!
Coming back to Dubai after many years was such a great experience.  We have also had the chance to get a VIP tour and cocktails at the VIP area of the Top Floor of Burj Khalifa, which is the highest building on earth. Standing there, on the highest point on earth, at the top floor, looking down at this vibrant city of Dubai, the sea and the surroundings. I knew and I felt it: here, not even the sky is the limit! It was unbelievable for me, how the city has changed in these few years since I last visited. 24 hours were enough for me to feel the energy, the vibes. So, one thing is sure: you will read much more about Dubai in the next years, here on www.her-etiquette.com! 🙂
