The first hours of the day are the most important. They set the tone for the day. To start each day with a positive energy is key for me. I do follow several well-being practices, such as meditating, working out, journaling and a healthy nutrition. I view life holistically, which is why skincare is also a major part of my everyday wellbeing and morning routine, given the fact that our skin actually is our body’s largest organ.
Being conscious about my skin, La Mer has become part of my daily skincare routine already many years ago.
First, I simply liked the brand and how my skin has transformed after using it. Then I started partnering with La Mer in 2015 and got to understand their healing science, learned about the naturally sourced ingredients and their story. But my aha-moment was, when I visited the LA MER HQ Laboratories in New York in 2017. From this day on I understood the true miracle of the brand and its uniqueness in the skincare world.
Being very interested in science and energies, I was quite excited discovering how actual positive energy is being brought to La Mer’s products. A concept created by Dr. Max Huber.
Who was Dr. Max Huber?
An aerospace physicist, who suffered burns in a lab accident and set out to create his own destiny by creating a cure for his burns. 6,000 experiments and 12 years of searching led to the epiphany of a lifetime – a fermentation process that transformed sea kelp and other pure ingredients into the miracle that would help transform the look of his skin. In honor of his muse, the sea, he called it „Crème de la Mer“.
