Acqua di Parma has released a new addition to its Blu Mediterraneo collection: the limited edition Mirto di Panarea Eau de Toilette. This fragrance captures the essence of Panarea, a timeless Mediterranean island, blending aromatic and citrus notes that evoke the vibrant energy of summer.
The scent opens with myrtle and fresh juniper, complemented by basil and the zesty freshness of Italian lemon and Calabrian bergamot. These top notes provide a lively and invigorating start. The heart notes introduce a marine breeze, jasmine, and Damask rose, adding a floral and slightly aquatic dimension that brings to mind the calming presence of the sea. The base is grounded with lentisk, juniper, Virginian cedarwood, and amber, which give the fragrance a warm, woody finish that lingers pleasantly on the skin.
The bottle design, crafted by acclaimed designer Dorothée Meilichzon, is as striking as the fragrance itself. It features a unique cap inspired by the sun and waves, with deep blue glass reflecting the Mediterranean Sea. Meilichzon’s design includes a motif of circles, triangles, and volutes, creating a visually and tactilely engaging experience that celebrates the joyous spirit of summer days. This design, part of the Summer Animation series, contrasts summery blue with the clear purity of white, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication.
In addition to the eau de toilette, Acqua di Parma also launched a limited edition Blu Mediterraneo Mirto di Panarea Hand Cream. Packaged with the same artistic design, this hand cream provides a lightweight, fast-absorbing emulsion enriched with jojoba oil and hyaluronic acid. It ensures hydrated and soft hands, leaving a delightful silky after-feel. The hand cream’s design, also by Meilichzon, echoes the motifs of circles, triangles, and volutes, bringing a cohesive aesthetic to the collection.
