Jacqueline Piotaz is not only a successful female entrepreneur but also a Swiss scientist who focuses on creating the healthiest and most natural cosmetic products for our skin – always based on innovative research and futuristic technologies paired with ingredients from Swiss nature, her beloved home country.

I’ve met her to chat about her latest product launch: The new “Glacial Hydration” care line follows the mission of perfect hydration and provides the skin with pure moisture on a Swiss glacier water basis. The revolutionary beauty launch relies on the Nunatak® plant stem cell complex, which survived the Ice Age and snow algae in combination with special moss and rare plant species. In addition, natural & organic high technologies enable an innovative and sustainable manufacturing process.

What inspired you to create your own cosmetic brand? 

My 25 years of experience in the world of beauty and working with over 20 different cosmetic brands. I wasn’t dough really happy with the results from the products. I wanted to create a unique Swiss Alpine brand and put the famous natural Swiss plants into my brand. I wanted to create a daily routine, simple and smart, for today’s demanding needs in skin care. 

Why is it based on natural Swiss ingredients? 

Swiss Plant Stem Cells are considered to belong to the best botanicals of all times benefits of holistic health and its connection to beauty. Herbs are the oldest and most widely used form of well—care in the world. Many of the greatest healing ingredients for the skin derived from plants and have enormous range of restorative powers.

Plant Stem cells are used in many of Naturophathica’s most active formulas, they allow us to harness the restorative power of nature’s most potent botanicals while also protecting biodiversity. For example rare botanicals like Alpine rose & Edelweiss, without endangering the species. 

I am Swiss from the Canton of Valais and raised in wonderful natural environment with mountains, Alps and vineyards. I wanted to create an authentic Swiss brand.

The Glacial Hydration line offers an optimal start to get to know my brand. Specially young people but also men and women, who are looking for  high quality moisturizing products. Based on a very special combination of Alpine ingredients, like glacier water, Alpine algae and a plant (Nunatac) which has survived the ice age. 

 

What is your ultimate secret for radiant skin?

My personal secret are the 5 steps from the Alpine radiant line. Morning and evening ritual with this 5 products:
