Park Hyatt New York

High ceilings, precious materials and vital colors. The sought-after interior designer of the luxury hotel Yabu Bushelberg, refers to Mondrian as a reference for the large-scale wall panels made of onyx: arranged at right angles, framed plates of Italian Onyx marble fill the interior with a gentle glow. The Onyx Room – an impressive ballroom with a square base and soaring heights. Exclusive dinners for up to 220 guests can be held here, standing receptions for up to 450 persons are not unusual. For conferences, weddings and meetings, the Park Hyatt New York is ideally suited. In addition to the incomparable Onyx Room there is the right venue for any sort of event. On over 700 square meters event space, the ballroom, the open show kitchen, meeting rooms and the large outdoor terrace can host every event. Intimate dinners, exhibitions, product launches, weddings and business events: nothing is impossible in this stylish interior. The entire event area is equipped with the latest presentation technology and sound systems, which, given the luxurious design in the style of authentic Upper East Side Apartments is almost a minor matter.

What particularly distinguishes the Park Hyatt is the personalized experience which the luxury hotel offers its guests. Art and culture come together inseparably with the stay in Manhattan. The previously mentioned reference to Mondrian is merely the beginning.

The Park Hyatt is cooperating among others with the Museum of Modern Art MoMA, Carnegie Hall, Sotheby’s and the Central Park Conservancy in order to offer its guests a collection that many museums would envy. More than 350 works of contemporary artists, including Ellsworth Kelly, Rob Fisher, Robert Longo, Sol LeWitt and Richard Serra turm the Park Hyatt into an oasis of art, which is can be admired throughout the hotel – some of the works were even specially created for Park Hyatt.

All this is located in close proximity to Central Park and the shopping street 5th Avenue. The restaurants and spa of the luxury hotel in the 90-story One57 skyscraper, designed by Pritzker Prize winner Christian de Portzamparc, equally attract locals and guests. The popular Backroom at One57 treats its up to 94 guests with American specialties of highest standards in a luxurious atmosphere. The bar of the stylish Living Room offers views of the historic Carnegie Hall. Indoor pool, breathtaking views, steam room and beauty treatments are only some of the features of the design Spa Nalai on the 25th floor in the middle of the busy metropolis.

The Park Hyatt Hotel New York is venue, museum, cultural center and oasis at the same time. In the heart of Manhattan, this luxury hotel sets standards worldwide and is definitely one of my favorite hotels in New York and in the world.
