Today is the first day of this year’s daylight saving time. Switzerland’s  Winter time (and mostly all over Euorpe) has officially started: nights become longer and the days shorter. Colorful leaves fall off the trees and nature’s new season begins.

Last night the clocks have been turned back one hour at 2 AM and we’ve been gifted with one more hour today. One more hour to sleep, to relax  or to meet our friends and family. That’s what I typically do on Sundays. And you?

Don’t we wish to have this “one more hour” more often in our busy lives? Especially in these rare and beautiful moments, where we just want time to stand still?! But we all know, time never stands still, neither do our lives. Season after season passes, years after years. And in the blink of an eye, the best moments in time become memories. That’s why TIME actually is the most precious gift we have.  And for me, I must say, time is the real meaning of luxury.

With our fast pacing lifestyle and society, we sometimes tend to forget about the true meaning of time. Taking time for ourselves during a busy day should be a “must” instead of a “nice to have”. Filling our time with qualitative and meaningful moments should be the priority. It’s not only good for our happiness but also the key to our health. So here is a little reminder to all of us.
