Since March 2020, and the beginning of the pandemic, I have been so lucky to have had this VAHA smart mirror at home. It couldn’t have been a better timing. And so my journey of “flow” began. “Finding flow” was also the intention of the successful female entrepreneur and founder Valerie Bures behind this smart mirror.
The VAHA fitness mirror combines more than 200 workouts and meditation sessions from which you can choose on a daily basis. From different pilates and yoga sessions, to special strength trainings, HIIT workouts and meditation sessions by professional trainers. All that is also connected to an app, so you’re always connected to your individual workout routine, and you can even practice your workouts or meditations whilst traveling from wherever you are.
Besides the pre-recorded workout sessions, there are also LIVE classes which you can join on a daily basis as well as LIVE video calls with your personal trainer. How many LIVE trainings you want to have per month depends on your individual schedule and the monthly plan you choose. Any of these work super well for me and I am probably the biggest fan of this mirror and so happy to be part of this journey since the very beginnings of VAHA.
For those who know and follow me on Instagram, you might have already seen that my favorite VAHA sessions are yoga, pilates and meditation, which I practice almost every day, whenever I am at home. A routine that has not only given me so much joy and calmness during the pandemic but also beyond.
Working out with a personal trainer in the comfort of your own home, without having to go to a gym or without booking any appointments – just switching it on whenever you feel like it. That’s a true luxury and has makes me (my body, mind and soul) so happy every day!
VAHA wouldn’t be called a smart mirror if it wouldn’t be super smart, of course! VAHA tracks all your workout sessions, it also tracks your movements throughout the week and schedules your classes in your calendar. You can connect it to your Spotify playlist and listen to your own music (or the VAHA pre-recorded music) during your workouts. You can also connect it to your Garmin smart watch or fitness trackers, for heart-rate and all other measurements to keep track of your overall daily health.
And for the times I don’t work out, I sometimes watch TV or movies via VAHA, because it can also be a TV, or just a big iPhone (and have even done zoom calls on my VAHA!) – and when it is switches off, it simply is a very stylish mirror at my home.
I don’t know what I’d do without it anymore. It’s the future of (home) fitness and a smart technology tool I think everyone should spoil themselves with, especially over these cold winter days!
